Jeff Serafin teaches the basics of "shrimping"

Jeff has a brown belt in Jeet Kune Do and a faixa marrom (brown belt) in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu under Jack McVicker. Jeff's current sport jiu-jitsu and submission wrestling record is an impressive 119 wins and 28 loses. He is also 5-1 in mixed-martial arts competition. Jeff is nationally ranked in both gi and no-gi grappling. In 2004, he was ranked first in the state of Illinois in both gi and no-gi, 10th nationally male 18-30 no-gi, and 4th nationally male 18-30 gi. Some of his titles include:

He completed his undergraduate education in History in 2006 and currently coaches Team Serafin McVicker BJJ at Ultimate Fitness Evanston, IL.
